Crafted in precious ivory-colored lacquer and enhanced with signature gold-coated fittings, the pen is topped with a Montblanc emblem made of precious resin encircled by the iconic coral color of the Montblanc Rouge et Noir collection. With signature gold and/or signature gold coating, Montblanc describes the light shade of yellow gold that has become a favored color for the House's writing instruments.
