Developed in 1906, the "Red and Black" fountain pen, which is one of the very first fountain pens made by Montblanc, surprised the public with its simplicity of use, which did not require dipping the nib into an ink bottle. Montblanc created the "Heritage" collection and offers pens directly inspired by its historical fountain pen, which can therefore be seen as its descendants. Its retro-style serpent clip is made from a metal alloy through a stamping and winding process and aged using a unique galvanization and stripping technique, demonstrating the brand's artisanal know-how. The top of the cap, in coral and ivory-colored resin, is crowned with the Montblanc emblem.
