When it was created in 1906, the fountain pen "Red and Black" was considered a true technical feat due to its ease of use, which eliminated the need to dip the nib into an ink bottle. The Heritage Red and Black collection celebrates Montblanc's pioneering spirit. This reinterpretation of the legendary writing instrument features a slimmer and elongated silhouette, the result of craftsmanship perfected over generations, a body in coral-colored lacquer, and a marbled effect cap that recalls the writing instrument created in the 1920s by Montblanc. The retro serpent motif clip corresponds to matching attributes. It is made from a special metal alloy, formed through a stamping and rolling process, and then aged using a unique galvanizing and stripping technique.
