Born in 1898 in New York, Peggy Guggenheim was an American art collector, socialite, and bohemian. She built a remarkable art collection in Europe and America and settled in Venice, Italy, to live and showcase her collection.
This Montblanc pen features a linear pattern design on the platinum-plated cap and barrel, inspired by the Art Deco works from her collection. The cap ring has a relief lion's head in reference to her Venetian palace, the Palazzo Venier dei Leoni. The handcrafted gold nib showcases paw prints of Peggy Guggenheim's favorite dog breed.
