Every detail of the limited edition Alexander von Humboldt pays tribute to the great naturalist and cultural medicine man. His spirit of discovery comes to life in the smallest details of this limited edition.
In edition 4810, the spine and the body are made of black grenadilla, a luxurious hardwood from the southern hemisphere. The inlay, clip, and bindings are reproduced in 925 sterling silver, evoking the art of the Indians whose culture Humboldt studied during his expedition in South America.
The 18-carat gold nib is plated with platinum and features a fine engraving of a sextant, one of Humboldt's favorite instruments that aided his research and surveys around the world during his voyages of discovery.
Ident. no: 201978

Material: 18-carat champagne gold nib - plated with a fine engraving of a sextant
