The collection Meisterstück Around the World in 80 Days is inspired by the famous adventure novel by Jules Verne. The Limited Edition 811 fountain pen in sterling silver Ag 925/1000 and structured lacquer tells the epic journey of Mr. Fogg and Passepartout. Embarking on the final leg, from Yokohama to London via the United States, the duo crosses the vast American continent by train, as shown by the 750/1000/18k gold inlaid cartouche on the sterling silver Ag925/1000 cap. The cap design captures the locomotive smoke, while a 3D inlay representing pressure valves adorns the textured body. The clip is adorned with a red lacquered heart, symbolizing the union between Phileas Fogg and Princess Aouda. Additionally, the cards represent Phileas Fogg's bold bet to complete the journey in just 80 days. The upper part of the cap bears the embossed timeline of the journey: 36 days from Yokohama to London, for a total of 80 days around the world. A security chain motif features on the cone, reflecting the crucial moment when Passepartout detaches the train from the locomotive to save the team attacked by Sioux. The writing instrument is equipped with a handmade 750/1000 gold nib adorned with a 1.5 mm black spinel and a card motif.
