The Montblanc Writers Edition 2007 pays vibrant tribute to William Faulkner, Nobel Prize in Literature laureate and one of the most influential American authors of the 20th century. Inspired by his masterpiece The Sound and the Fury, this ballpoint pen features a pattern of interlocking rings and iridescent mother-of-pearl effects, evoking the transition between Art Deco and new forms of literary expression. Its shimmering brown-black precious resin, enhanced with platinum-plated finishes, is adorned with the author's original signature engraved on the cap, for a style that is elegant, understated, and captivating. Its twist mechanism accompanies the writing of a letter as well as the signing of an important document.
