Montblanc Great Characters Homage to Bruce Lee Special Edition Ballpoint Pen

A slender silhouette cuts through the air, the soles of the feet pointed forward like a taut arrow—this image, inseparable from the name Bruce Lee, inspires the Great Characters Special Edition rollerball. Montblanc pays tribute to the actor, director, and philosopher, born in San Francisco in 1940 and raised in Hong Kong, whom The Big Boss, Fist of Fury, and The Way of the Dragon made famous around the world. This writing instrument is intended for film lovers, collectors, and those wishing to give an exceptional object with a story to tell.

The black precious resin barrel reproduces a dragon motif drawn by Bruce Lee himself, a nod to his birth year, the Year of the Dragon. The ruthenium-coated metal cone is adorned with a flying hornet, evoking the television series that paved the way for his fame. The Montblanc emblem in white precious resin bears the Chinese character meaning “dragon,” fitting for the nickname “Little Dragon.” The yellow resin of the cap recalls the legendary outfit from the film Game of Death, and fine geometric lines highlight its glossy surface, in reference to the original poster of Enter the Dragon. The clip, with its sophisticated texture, takes the shape of a nunchaku stick, and the cap ring evokes a bamboo cane. For everyday use, the rollerball offers smooth writing for signing, annotating, or jotting down ideas with elegance.

A collector’s piece with bold graphics, this special edition combines the maison’s craftsmanship with the world of a legend of the silver screen. Every detail, from the mythological motif adorning the black resin to the flying hornet on the cone, tells a chapter in the career of the “Little Dragon” and will appeal equally to martial arts enthusiasts and lovers of rare objects. Given to mark a unique occasion or displayed in a showcase, this rollerball draws attention and sparks conversation. Dimensions: 144.3 mm x 16.5 mm
