Few luxury objects capture the essence of excellence and refinement like the Great Characters Muhammad Ali Limited Edition 1942 Fountain Pen. This writing instrument is a tribute to one of the most influential athletes of the 20th century, three-time heavyweight champion Muhammad Ali.
The design of the pen is inspired by the life and career of Muhammad Ali. The precious lacquer of the cap represents the robe worn by Ali during his entrance to the legendary fight in Kinshasa, Zaire, in 1974. The gold-coated body recalls the boxing wraps used by athletes to protect their hands. The gold-coated butterfly on the cap is inspired by his typical fighting style: 'Float like a Butterfly, sting like a bee'.
The materials used for this pen are as exceptional as the man it honors. The cap and body are adorned with precious lacquer and gold. The two-tone gold nib Au 750/1000, handcrafted, represents a boxing glove.
This pen measures 147.3 x 17.3 x 10 mm and weighs 95.76 g. Its size and weight make it a comfortable and balanced writing instrument, perfect for those who appreciate luxury and excellence.
