When it was created in 1906, the "Rouge et Noir" fountain pen was considered a technical feat for its ease of use, eliminating the need to dip the nib into an inkwell. The Heritage Rouge et Noir collection celebrates Montblanc's 110 years of pioneering spirit. This contemporary reinterpretation of the legendary writing instrument features a slimmer and longer silhouette, following a craftsmanship tradition perfected over generations. The retro clip with a serpent motif matches the corresponding attributes. It is made from a special metal alloy formed by a stamping and winding process, then aged using a galvanization and stripping technique.
