When it was created in 1906, the fountain pen “Red and Black” was considered a true technical feat due to its simplicity of use, which eliminated the need to dip the nib into an ink bottle. The Heritage Red and Black collection celebrates Montblanc's pioneering spirit. This contemporary reinterpretation of the legendary writing instrument features a slimmer and elongated silhouette. It combines modern piston technology with a craftsmanship tradition perfected over generations. The retro clip with a serpent motif corresponds to matching attributes. It is made from a metal alloy formed through a stamping and rolling process and aged using a unique galvanization and stripping technique.
