The pen features a solid silver Ag 925 body, beautifully inlaid with blue lacquer, evoking the roots of van Gogh's trees, exposed by erosion. The cap is engraved with a design inspired by the view from the asylum of Saint-Rémy, realized in pencil, reed pen, and ink. These elements are crowned by the 18-carat gold Montblanc emblem, reminiscent of the bright stars frequently present in his paintings.

The body and cap of the pen are made of solid silver Ag 925, with lacquer inlays inspired by van Gogh's work. The nib, handcrafted, is made of 18-carat gold with an embossing of the Phi symbol, evoking the pen's connection to the golden ratio and the Japanese art that influenced van Gogh.
