The Montblanc Muses Maria Callas Special Edition is a collection of fountain pens that pays tribute to one of the most emblematic figures of 20th-century opera, Maria Callas. This soprano is recognized for her unique style, undeniable talent, overflowing passion, and captivating personality, which have redefined the image of the opera singer. Her presence on the most prestigious stages in the world, from La Scala in Milan to the Paris Opera, and the Metropolitan Opera in New York, earned her the nickname 'La Divina' (the divine).
The design of this fountain pen is a celebration of the elegance and charisma of Maria Callas. The turquoise color, which she particularly cherished, is highlighted in the precious resin that makes up the cap and body of the pen. This hue not only recalls the graceful beauty of Maria Callas and her elegant silhouette but also her homeland, Greece. In homage to these elements, the pen's platinum clip is adorned with a stone whose color evokes the turquoise blue of the Aegean Sea.
The body and cap of the pen are made from precious resin, giving the instrument a sense of luxury and quality. The 14 K rhodium-plated nib, handcrafted, is engraved with the famous kohl 'cat-eye' makeup that was an integral part of Maria Callas's image, as well as her emblematic nickname: 'La Divina'.
With dimensions of 132.6 x 14.7 x 10 mm and a weight of 33.33 g, this pen is both compact and pleasant to hold.
