Nicolas Rieussec is the inventor of the first ink chronograph in 1821. To pay tribute to him, Montblanc has dedicated a new Montblanc Star Legacy watch in his name. The watch is equipped with two rotating discs aligned on a horizontal line that measure the 60 seconds and 30 minutes of the chronograph and rotate under a fixed blue double index, just like the original device from 1821. Additionally, the watch is powered by a manufacture automatic winding monopusher chronograph movement. Montblanc artisans have modified its dial to give a 3D effect.
