Montblanc Star Legacy Nicolas Rieussec Chronograph Watch

The Montblanc Star Legacy Nicolas Rieussec Chronograph watch pays tribute to the French watchmaker who made history in horology by inventing the first ink chronograph, patented in 1821. This watch features the two famous horizontally aligned rotating discs, one for the 60-second counter and the other for the 30-minute counter of the chronograph, which turn under a double fixed index, just like the original device. The two counters and the eccentric ring of hours and minutes are domed to create a striking 3D effect. The watch is powered by the renowned in-house monopusher chronograph movement caliber MB R200 with automatic winding and column wheel, which can be admired through the sapphire crystal case back. The caliber is equipped with two barrels that store enough energy to ensure a power reserve of 72 hours. The Montblanc Star Legacy Nicolas Rieussec Chronograph is housed in a 44.8 mm stainless steel case with an anthracite dial and an anthracite Sfumato alligator strap made by the leather workshop of the Maison in Florence, Italy.
