The Montblanc 1858 line is inspired by legendary watches produced by Minerva in the 1920s and 1930s for the army and exploration. Reinterpreting these exceptional models, Montblanc 1858 reflects the spirit of mountain exploration and aligns with the current trend of a return to nature. The 1858 Automatic watch features a polished and satin-finished stainless steel case of 40 mm, extended by thin, angled lugs. The case back is engraved with the iconic Mont Blanc, a compass, and two crossed ice axes, nodding to the world of mountaineering. For perfect readability and striking aesthetics, the black dial is equipped with contrasting luminescent cathedral-shaped hands with cloisonné design and slightly domed for added refinement. The dial is also adorned with beige SuperLumiNova* coated Arabic numerals, a railway minute track, and the original Montblanc logo from the 1930s with its historical font and a representation of Mont Blanc. The watch is fitted with a khaki nubuck calf leather strap.
