In 2021, Montblanc celebrated the legacy of the visionary Enzo Ferrari, race car driver and founder of the legendary Scuderia Ferrari, by creating the Rollerball Great Characters Enzo Ferrari Limited Edition 1898. This pen embodies excellence and a passion for speed, values dear to Ferrari.
The design of this writing instrument is inspired by the engine of the Ferrari 125 S. The metal cap features a finish reminiscent of the engine's texture, while its top is adorned with the Montblanc emblem in resin mimicking frosted glass, embedded in a metallic grid. The back of the cap proudly displays the famous prancing horse, the emblematic symbol of Ferrari. The metal clip is engraved with Enzo Ferrari's quote: "One cannot describe passion, one can only live it."
Made of metal, the body of the pen is treated to resemble the structure of the Ferrari 125 S engine. The attributes are enhanced with red lacquer, a shade inspired by the original red of the first Ferrari 125 S, paying homage to the brand's distinctive aesthetic.
