The Rollerball Meisterstück Around the World in 80 Days Doué Classic by Montblanc is inspired by the famous novel by Jules Verne. This pen is a tribute to the spirit of adventure and the determination of Phileas Fogg.
The design of this pen evokes the second part of Fogg's epic journey, from Bombay to Yokohama, where the main characters travel on the back of a majestic elephant. The body of the pen is made of precious resin lacquered with a gradient of anthracite, reminiscent of the shades of the ocean crossed during this leg of the journey. Its dark gray color evokes mystery and elegance, adding a touch of luxury to this exceptional pen.
The cap made of gold-plated metal is adorned with an engraved pattern that symbolizes luck. A majestic elephant, the means of transport for the protagonists in this part of the adventure, is represented in a cartouche on the cap. The clip is decorated with a red lacquered tile, while the cone is engraved with a pattern and playing card symbols representing Mr. Fogg's wager.
