This Great edition Characters pays tribute to one of the most revolutionary and influential figures in jazz history - Miles Dewey Davis. In addition to being an exceptional trumpeter, he was a pioneer of virtually every stage of the evolution of jazz in post-war United States, from cool jazz to rock, funk, and jazz fusion. His induction into the Rock 'n Roll Walk of Fame was therefore natural. The 1926 Limited Edition shape represents a trumpet, enhanced with buttons on the clip. The original engraving of the barrel is inspired by the great stages of the evolution of jazz in post-war United States, influenced by Miles Davis. The blue tip evokes "Kind of Blue," the greatest jazz album of all time. The shape of the tip is inspired by the special mouthpiece "Heim" that he used. The nib is engraved with your silhouette and the limited number of pieces represents your year of birth.
