The Patron of Art Edition Henry E. Steinway refers to the classical beauty of a Steinway piano. A gilded piano frame adorns the cap while the cap of the edition 888 is made of solid gold Au 750 cleverly skeletonized. Black and white piano keys adorn the barrel of the edition 888. The clip resembles the patented screw used to fold the rim of the grand piano. "Steinway & Sons", the name that appears above the keyboard of every Steinway piano, is engraved on the conical ring of these limited editions, completed by an engraved portrait of Henry E. Steinway on the solid gold Au 750 nib.
