At its launch in 1906, the exclusive fountain pen "Red and Black" was considered a technical feat in its own right due to its ease of use, which eliminated the need to dip the nib in an inkwell. The Heritage Red and Black collection celebrates 110 years of Montblanc's pioneering spirit. It reinterprets the legendary writing instrument with a slimmer, more elegant silhouette, modern piston-filling technology, and craftsmanship perfected over generations.
The body of the exclusive fountain pen in precious black lacquer is complemented by a cap in precious black resin, a retro-style serpent clip, and matching attributes. The clip is made using a special lamination and stamping process of a ribbon in a special alloy, aged using a special galvanizing and stripping technique.
