The Montblanc 1858 collection is an ode to exploration and adventure, inspired by the legendary professional watches produced by Minerva in the 1920s and 1930s for the army and exploration. Reinterpreting these exceptional models, the Montblanc 1858 reflects the spirit of mountain exploration and fits into the current trend of a return to nature.
The Montblanc 1858 Geosphere is dedicated to the challenge of the seven summits, the Holy Grail of mountaineers. It features a 42 mm blue titanium case with contrasting frosted white details, evoking glaciers.
The design of the watch is dominated by two domed globes that complete a full rotation in 24 hours, topped with a graduation for 24 time zones and a day/night indicator in contrasting colors. The different time zones can thus be understood intuitively, with the additional help of SuperLumiNova® applied on the continents to enhance visibility and performance in darkness.
The watch is mounted on a vintage technical bi-material strap made of matte satin titanium and polished stainless steel.
