Price on request
Mahatma Gandhi was a major political and spiritual leader of India and the Indian independence movement. The design pays tribute to his life and achievements. The top of the cap and cone is inspired by the spinning wheel that Gandhi used to spin cotton - one of the symbols of Indian independence. The white color is a reference to truth and peace, while the mandarin garnet represents the orange color that is part of the Indian flag. The nib shows an image of Mahatma Gandhi, walking with a staff. Furthermore, the limitation of the Mahatma Gandhi Limited Edition 3000 is symbolic of the masses of people who followed him during his struggle for independence.
As a reference, this edition released in 2009 is limited to 3,000 piston fountain pens and 3,000 rollers.
