The Montblanc 1858 Iced Sea Automatic Date is the very first diving watch from Montblanc. Inspired by the Mer de Glace, the main glacier of the Mont-Blanc massif, this watch was created to capture the essence of adventure and exploration.
The design of this watch is unique and impressive. The blue dial features a glacier pattern that gives the impression of diving into the depths of a glacier. This pattern is the result of an almost forgotten ancient technique called wood-graining.
As for the materials, the watch is equipped with a bi-colored ceramic unidirectional bezel and an engraved case back. The strap is made of interchangeable and beveled stainless steel, allowing for a precise fit.
The watch has a diameter of 41 mm and a thickness of 12.9 mm. It complies with the ISO 6425 standard for diving watches and is water-resistant up to 300 meters.
