The Montblanc 1858 Iced Sea Automatic Date is a diving watch that is part of Montblanc's Iced Sea collection. Inspired by the Mer de Glace, this watch is the result of an almost forgotten ancient technique called gratté-boisé.
The design of this watch is unique, featuring a glacier-patterned gray dial that gives the impression of exploring the depths of a glacier. The colors of the dial are inspired by the different hues of glaciers, depending on their location and the elements trapped inside.
The watch is equipped with a unidirectional bezel made of steel and ceramic. The case is made of oxygen-free titanium. It is mounted on an interchangeable stainless steel bracelet that can be easily replaced with a black rubber strap.
The watch has a diameter of 41 mm. It complies with ISO 6425 standards for underwater diving and is water-resistant up to 300 meters.
