The Montblanc 1858 Iced Sea Automatic Date is a luxury diving watch that is part of the Iced Sea collection from Montblanc. Inspired by the Mer de Glace, this watch is the result of an almost forgotten ancestral technique called gratté-boisé. It gives the impression of exploring the depths of a glacier where all the minerals have remained frozen in time for millennia.
The design of this watch is unique with its gray glacier-patterned dial. The colors of the dial are inspired by the different hues of glaciers, depending on their location and the presence of trapped air or algae inside. The dial is adorned with rhodium-plated and luminous white Arabic numerals and indexes.
The Montblanc 1858 Iced Sea Automatic Date features a unidirectional bezel made of steel and ceramic. The interchangeable black rubber strap with a gray outline can be easily replaced with a stainless steel strap. The case is made of oxygen-free titanium.
The watch has a diameter of 41 mm. It complies with the ISO 6425 standard for underwater diving and is waterproof up to 300 meters.
