The Montblanc Iced Sea Automatic Date, the very first Montblanc diving watch, features a dial enhanced with a glacier pattern that gives the impression of seeing the depths. The pattern of this green dial is inspired by the Mer de Glace, the main glacier of the Mont-Blanc massif. Its texture is the result of an almost forgotten ancestral technique called gratté-boisé. The watch, housed in a 41 mm stainless steel case, is equipped with a bi-color ceramic unidirectional bezel and an engraved case back. It is mounted on an interchangeable green rubber strap with a beveled design featuring meticulous adjustment for a precise fit. This watch complies with the ISO 6425 standard for diving watches and is water-resistant to 300 meters.
