The Montblanc Star Legacy collection is enriched with a limited edition of 1786 pieces, paying tribute to Jacques Balmat, the first mountaineer to reach the summit of Mont Blanc in 1786. This chronograph embodies the spirit of adventure and the watchmaking expertise of the House.
The timepiece features a burgundy dial with a unique "glacier" pattern, inspired by the Mer de Glace of Mont Blanc. The outer rim of the dial presents a subtle Sfumato effect, adding depth and elegance. The rose gold-plated Arabic numerals and railway minute track complete this refined design. The hour, minute, and small second hands are also rose gold-plated, while the chronograph hands are rhodium-plated, offering a harmonious contrast.
The 42 mm case is made of polished stainless steel, ensuring robustness and durability. The dial is protected by a domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment, guaranteeing optimal readability. The case back is transparent, allowing admiration of the automatic movement MB 25.13 that powers this chronograph. The interchangeable calfskin strap with alligator print and vertical Sfumato effect adds an extra touch of sophistication.
With a diameter of 42 mm and a thickness of 14.29 mm, this watch offers a bold presence on the wrist while maintaining timeless elegance. It is water-resistant up to 5 bar (50 m), making it suitable for daily wear.
